本项目将选取中国与泰国澜沧江/湄公河流域的六个跨境民族（傣/泰、傈僳、哈尼/阿卡、瑶、拉祜、苗）中的至少两个跨界民族音乐进行对比展示，内容包括录音、手稿（唱词、注释、及其他音乐谱录）、照片，以档案包的创意文化产品形式出版。我们的资料来源于四个国家的十组机构/个人，例如：1980年代在云南参与项目的“集成项目”的数位文化工作者、昆明院校的学者、西双版纳电台、老挝国立电台、美国的音乐人类学者。

This TMA-010 publication will release a series of materials, collected from the Mekong River region in a comparative scope, of the cross-border groups — Lisu, Akha, Lahu, Hmong/Miao, Wa, and Thai/Tai. The content will be comprised of materials from four countries and ten archival individuals/institutions that have done collection work within the region, for example, 1) various scholars and institutions in Kunming, China, 2) the radio system of Xishuangbanna prefecture, 3) local collectors in counties on the China-Myanmar borders, 4) Gerald Dyck, an American scholar who made a couple of hundred OTs in 1970s from Norther Thailand, and 5) State Radio of Laos.
